Owh man!
Thats a great find!! Someone should subtitle it as it contains alot of information, though the movie gives you 99% of the info you need just by looking at it.
I do wonder why they didn't include RCAs though

Seems that this was taken from a AE86 club DVD. This is the man from "Spirit S" tuning shop.
Very interesting video.
I wish i had all these DVD's and videos, they provide excellent information.
I wish i knew Japanese also...

Yeah and why they also don't use any adjustable lateral rods.
They change the bushings, lsd and exhaust system after this though.
This is a short clip of a Drift tengoku vid where they compare an S14 with an ae86 from stock. And the with some basic mods. (suspension, wheels&tires, lsd, exhaust/boost up,)

Best Motoring AE86 Club DVD's - where can you find them? I bet there are olso subbed versions. If not somebody should sub them..

Thats a nice vid! I was talking to my old man about making coilovers just a couple of days ago but this way it want be a problem BTW I have to get this dvd

Why didnt he cut the strut right away? Why cut the plate and then the strut?

lipinhu,
he does that so you can get the blade closer to where the perch is. If you don't remove the perch the blade mount will hit the perch.
You don't need to remove it as cleanly as he does though
