Hi guys

No winter here in Croatia and that means no drifting on snowy touges that we have. Since we were all kean to drift I decided to rent a track caled "Novi Marof" and invite arround 20 cars to a drift/track day.
Event was good, weather was windy but OK.
Here are some pictures, rest you can find in gallery on my web site

I had a boost leak on one hose clamp but I fixed it. In few moments car looked like a rocket car.

some more here
http://www.go-drift.com/galleries.php?view=42

And on croatian Nissan forum
http://www.nissan-hr.com/forum/showthread.php?t=596

As you can see car is still alive and kickin. Bodykit needs some fixing thanks to croatian roads. On the way to track front bumper started to "dissintegrate" when speeds reached +210kmph Smile

I practieced some 3rd gear drifting at speeds above 100kmph and I managed to work it out. I had no place to do that high speed drifting on dry tarmac anywhere until yesterday, so I was really happy to "learn" the lesson and it felt good. It also gave me some shivers when I messed up a few times, so I should get a roll cage inside. Just in case.

Car is currently on 0.7b of boost and I lost all maps in my e-manage because I was doing a favour to a mate who has e-manage to. We connected it to my e-01 and somehow I lost all fuel and ignition maps.

Next are the pictures....loads of them

Hohohohoo! Seems you had a great time out there mate!

Hrc mentioned something about this(?) event before but my car is not ready for a Croatian trip. Hope you will arrange another practice like this soon when I'll be ready to go. Smile

I am so jalous....

I have to figure out how much it would cost to drive up to you Zax. I think it will probably be cheaper to drive up to croatia for a weekend of drifting fun, then a day drifting here in Holland or in Belgium, or compared to a day at the Nurburging. And it would be a nice vacation too.. Just think Lily would hate driving up in the Hachi...

Mux213 let me know if you visit one event there to be able to organize my holiday too. Would be nice such an international practice session.
Btw, you could also join us one time, we are a little bit closer to the NL... Smile

yesssss it was great!!
I let of so much steam that even today I drove to town doing 60km/h all the way... like a nun... Very Happy

Zax showed some of his alien skils, again... drove my cheef... (cheef editor of croatian EVO magazine...), they went to a curve some 120km/h+ he flipped the car, floped the gas pedal to the metal let of the steering wheel, hands crossed on his chest, looked at Branimir, smiled and said "cool, ain't it?", grabed the steering and continued to drift trough next few corners... Branimir came out of the S13 with a huge smile... Zax did similar to me... we are sideways trough a corner and he is adjusting the air conditioning... LOL... what a nut case... Thumbsup

Meshin tryed some slimilar... Smile Cool

Vlad and Kas were also there...

and I tryed my bosses Miata (1,6, open diff) Evil or Very Mad

My car was doing fine, roling like crazy, but neet

one of mine works saturday...

And to all that were waiting for me to sell the car and quit, loose the temper and will I say:

not for sale!! Thanx to my friends... Althou I might sell my body parts for some good suspension... Cheerleader Wink Thumbsup

Hehe,

Well seriously, with my wife pregnant I don't want to take such a long trip in the Hachi. I may be tempted to fly out just for a holiday, we have been thinking about that for awhile. But with the hachi that may have to wait until end of the summer or next year.

With the hachi you actually better not drive such long way with your wife. Pregnant or not... Smile
