Hi everyone,
Just found out about this site. Just thought I'd say hello.
As for me I have a AE86 3 door Levin black and been living here in Japan for 3 years now on and off. So if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

Hi there welcome to the site!
In about 4 minutes everyone here will start screaming for pics. Might as well start the circus off: do you have any pics?
Where are you originally from and where in Tokyo do you live? Might be there again after september, would be nice to see more of the Tokyo scene.

ok I haven't had the chance to get new pics as yet but I have these old ones here. Some of you may have seen it online before
I will get more later.
This is a work in progress and I will be making more mods.
looks too initial d at the moment.
I will be selling the wheels once I have used the tires hehe.
Next step is something wider!
Also is anyone in Japan still? D1 is this weekend up at Ebisu, So if anyone is going up I may meet you there.

I don't mind watanabes but has to be the type R 14inch 8J or 8.5J rims with -9 or more offset.
I have Longchamps on my other black levin.
SSR are also good and works wheels.
Going to put more Cusco suspension and do all the bushes with whiteline or other.
I have Techno Pro Spirits disc rotors ready to go on as well and Tomei Powered camshafts.
This has a TRD 2 way LSD but I will be upgrading to Tomei Technical Trax maybe next month.

hi welcome to the site. I'm thinking of getting tps's disk rotors myself, will they fit behind 14'' wheels? im not too sure of offsets etc on them, they're volk mesh, look identical to ssr mk2's. are spacers needed for their disks or is it a straight swap with the standard ones?
also any pics of ae86's in your area will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Yes the TPS dics will fit directly on without any mods and are a good replacement of the factory discs. These are cheap to buy and even cheaper than genuine rotors but just as good if not better.
They are fine with 14 inch and that is what my friend has on his now.
no spacers are required unless you get some crazy wheels (which I will be doing next month)
I have a spare set of rear discs here non slotted which I can sell if you are interested. I can always get more anyway since I buy off them regularly and my friends Levin is getting a tune up there now so we have to go back to pick it up next week anyway.

Techno Pro Spirits is sort of near me and the closest shop is Kazama Auto not a 86 specialist shop.

Hehe.. Seriously though, indeed nice to have some more people from Japan here. Still so little known here about what is going on in Japan with our beloved cars..

yes I know but the Bride seats are swapped in for the track days. Just not so nice to used for daily driving at this stage until I get the recliner seats. Only have full bucket at this stage.

It's nice to see another car from Japan, where did you migrate from Mosqiton? I may be coming out to Japan during summer next year, if I decide to come near the area, I wouldnt mind taking a look
