does anyone know if initial d is showing in the uk t.v.
i would love to watch it, got 2 of the comic books and the dvd movie, but the cartoon just looks mint

I doubt it will ever run.. Allthough maybe the tokyo pop version might be aired some day.
Problem is licensing, and the lack thereoff, nobody would want to spend the cash to get the series licensed and subtitled/dubbed for TV distribution in Europa. Its not profitable enough:(

why would you want to have it aired?
Just buy the DVD's from ebay for around 80 euro and you can watch it over and over and over and over and over 
They are fansubbed, but they are quite good (until stage 4, those are getting a bit worse)

Doc, I think the LE fansubbed ones for stage 4 are very good actually, I believe jack in a box sells em on DVD in the states..

it depends, if you were unlucky like me, when the first bunch of fansubs were out for stage 4, the subtitles were talking in pretty comical subs.
e.g, wow the popularity of inital d team is spreading so fast over the internet, the help of bit torrent files is so cool.
that god dam bitch of a mother
etc etc.
but generally the subs are really good.
i cant wait till the second live movie comes out

BTW: I doubt if it will be aired anywhere since the whole streetracing is a big no-no for most countries.

If ID ever aired in the UK, it wouldnt last long. Anything good that shows in the UK ends quickly. Shit lasts for years.
