Going to HK:)

Hey banpei,
I ran into a 1:31 diecast initial D trueno @ a model shop a few weeks ago...the same thing is also for sale on HLJ. Looked pretty good except for the wheels (which didnt look like anything I know really). For a trueno coupe I'm afraid you're either limited to plastic model kits (which are a bitch to build, and details on some models are a bit off), or maybe some very rare and overly expensive diecast model in 1:64 (if it even exists...I know levins do).

To get back on topic: Mux, when can we expect you back in holland?

Hmmm, a 1/31 diecast would be a bit too big, I'd rather go for a 1/64 or 1/43 Smile

I believe Mux was going to stay there one month in total, so I'd say another two weeks. Wink

1:31 is about the smallest size I would consider...I dont have to play with it..but it's tiny enough already @ about 20-30 cm's lenght.. 1:64 is matchbox size..

I'll keep my eyes open, I ran into keychain initial D thingies before so you may not even have to go through the trouble of changing it.

I dont know when though, today I'm going to central and then to causeway bay, tomorow morning its 5 days to China and then I have only 2 days left here in HK and most of that will be spend with my bro in law.

Also my wife is giving me a harder and harder time because I bought way to many things already, Gundam seed box, some Macross model kit, Megazone series, remote control trueno, small matchbox trueno, etc.

Most of the model shops here actually have the whole initial D series plastic model kits where you have to paint and glue them together yourselves. Maybe a nice side product for Mfactory? There are like 10 or 15 model shops in the street right next to his office! Wink

I just came back from 5 days of running around in china, man thats some crazy country.. Had some fun playing with crocodiles and such, really cool stuff:)

Traffic is weird though, shit my pants dozens of times.. Hotels are great though, 6 star hotel costs about the same as a 1 star hotel in Holland.. Foods good to. Some day I have to go driving there:)

Not sure what the plans are for tomorow, probably ocean park, not sure if I'm going to go to mongkok again to shop, I'm seriously melting in this heat over here...

Well actually the server turned out to be fine, it was my modem that disconnected itself, probably my provider doesn't like long (in) activity on it:)
