Donations are welcome! Smile

In order to keep up with the good work, it is inevitable we will need expansion and colocation of the server within a few months. So anyone who wants to donate can actually donate and anyone who doesn't is not obliged: this forum/website is open for everybody and free of charge and will stay that way.

I've created a donation button, but I don't really like the layout of the button. I'll see if I can fix up a different button.

Press on the donations button on the top of the forum, then make a donation. The money is taken from your credit card. You do need access to paypal to donate though, not everyone on the forum has....

you think a bank account is a good idea, or not?

I wont pay with paypal, or with CC, but if you give me an account I could transfer the money there. Just need the bank and the number of the account.

If you do that I guess that many others will follow, Alimonos for example, right Giwrgos????

Maybe you should find out what you IBAN number is, then europian members can transfer money to your account if they do not want to use CC.

If it accepts regular paypal transfers you should be able to donate from paypal funds that you can fill from your bank account. I'll see if anything is left on my account after paying Jon for the FRP parts, what remains goes to aeu86.org...

Why don't you set a minimal ammount of money that can somebody donate? i think it would help a lot of us no to be embarassed after our donation... don't u think?

Why be embarassed? Every little bit helps.... I dont expect to have more than a few euro's left to donate, but I'm still doing it.. It's not like were keeping a list of people's donations. I would just like to see the site colocated to take some of the pressure of banpei's server, and perhaps we can do merchandising a bit more easily when we dont need to pay for stuff from our own pockets.

I'd just like to say, donate if you like the forum. Even if it's just some spare change you have left on your paypal like me..

I didn't want to set the minimum amount because it would pressure people. Transactions via PayPal are only calculated when transfered and withdrawn, so I only pay the fee once for the transaction and once for each withdrawl...

In case of IBAN transactions: I have to look into that.

This will not be used for the stickers: that will still be funded from my own pocket. Later on we might have enough spare money for other promotional stuff. Smile

Banpei, get the first money from paypal donations and use em to start a new account and then give us the IBAN.
