I do a lot of welding and have always used 3Ms weld-thru primer. Supposedly, the heat of welding actually activates the product to create a bonded zinc between the substraits.
As far as I've experienced, its been very successful as even panels that I've unintentionally left for several weeks before primer and paint haven't shown any signs of rust. |
