what's the rotors width?

calipers I suppose, can be ordered from isa-racing.de for example
as well as rotors
but AP racing is highest quality brand with appropriate price.

bells and fixture are custom made ?

I'm also very interested in good breaks setup under 13inch rims.

Hi there
The calipers are wilwood and so are the rotors , the thickness is 21mm ?
And yes everything else is custom made by the guy that built my engine , it is also his job to start the car for the first time this week when has has programed the computer .
It takes a lot of very careful planing to get this setup to fit and also the correct choice of wheel as well .
I will post a video of the engine running when this happens .
cheers

Question - Where did you get the dash and switch panel? Custom or someplace in NZ?

Hi there
The Dash was made locally here in NZ and the center switch panel was made by the same place as a one off from a pattern that I gave them to suit my requirements.
cheers

It is now getting dangerously close to becoming a moving object , a few other details have been completed like the loud pedal ,

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - nzae86's TRD ae86 N2 Race Car Project 2,]

also to run the computer a cam sensor was also required ,

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - nzae86's TRD ae86 N2 Race Car Project 2,]

The engine now starts and runs , but has yet to be tuned and run in , so not too many revs at this stage .
I think it is going to sound very impressive when it is at full song !

There is still lots of small things to tidy up yet , but getting closer!!

Funny how the cams end up in EXACTLY the same position they where in before starting the engine.. shows you what some wild cams with stiff springs will do Smile .

Just being a noob here, but why do you only use one magnet of your camwheel? Dunno how much force it develops whilst spinning at high RPM but I imagine it does introduce a slight imbalance on that end of the camshaft.

Hi there
I don't think a small stud in one cam wheel will make much difference while it has a belt running around the outside of it, time will tell .
I would say that the engine's unique way of parking has something to do with the 12.9 - 1 compression Smile
