Been making some sweet progress on this, basically it's been sorting out all of the massive amount of parts / spare parts that I've got, and what they're for, finding bits I need, etc etc.



I need to reassemble the doors and put them on, before I can fit the front gaurds, and rest of the front properly.

Most of the interior is back in

This shows the paint colour a lil better perhaps... Looks quite a different shade when in the sun, compared to overcast as above.



Havent found a few bits of trim etc yet but they're bound to be floating around somewhere, I've got at least two of everything hahaha.

Some of the more delicate or impossible to find replacement for parts, wont be going on until very last minute when the car is out of the garage for good. (well.. for now)

So these have been stacked away in my closet where there's no chance of them getting damaged or whatever.



I've only got one good set of the tail lights, and only one front grill to suit the twin headlights.

I've just got broken/damaged tail lights on the car for now while test fitting everything and finding other parts of trim, etc.

Getting the rear screen back into the hatch was a nightmare, took way too long and involved a lot of swearing

The rear screen must have been tough! But in the end the result is looking good!

BTW: The harness holding the headlights looks almost brand new!
I'm going to refurbish (as good as it gets) mine next week. Also going to do the rewiring if I find the right connectors and maybe I can already test fit them by friday...

However I need a few trim pieces that I cant find

Anyone got a spare piece of trim that goes along the top edge of the front windscreen?

I should have two, but cant find either.

Heh yep it's been a long time coming for sure.

Nearly there though!

Been super busy putting it all back together since painting.

Just about ready to take it for a test run up the road, possibly tomorrow all going well!

About the tail lights, you dont need to swap the centre panel over to use the facelift tails, they're all the same for the 2 door model.

As mentioned I've got a spare pair here, but they're a little worse for wear unfortunately.

Definitely a bit nicer looking than the earlier lights on the 2 door model though I think.
