I had 15x7 ET10 and they surely did rub with enough weight in the back..
That was with 195/55-15's at the rear though.

That's weird. But when i drove it with these wheels i still had like 2cm wheelgap maybe that explains why it didn't rub on my car.

Indeed weird. I got 8 -2 for a long time with no rubbing. 195/50/15 T1R and car at tokico HTS shortstrokes. I did use the lateral bar from T3 to make the lineup correct. Note: If you lower the car you rear axle goes a bit to the left. This can be corrected by the lateral rod from T3.
I also placed 7.5 -8 on Oldskull's car. Also 195/50/15 T1R tires. Minimal rubbing at big bump in the road if im correct, so 7 ET0 is safe.

@djexor, my azev wheels are 16x7,5 with low et and that also has minimal rub.

@ditn, those last wheels you posted, the advan ones are nice. But in white you'll have to clean them on a regular basis. Tongue

In what universe are those wheels more euro than japanese style? Think I might have gotten the wrong idea about what you wanted.
This is what I had in mind when I heard euro:

Check the rims rota make, they have a lot of designs and are light and affordable. I just bought a set of new rota grid v's which were €150,- per rim

At 150 per wheel the world is your oyster so to speak. You can get team dynamics for that kind of money, which I rate higher than Rota in the quality department. But whatever you want, there are plenty nice designs to choose from (especially from rota I must admit.. Rota Slipstream is a nice design).
