wheels option: 15x7 +0 or 15x8 +15??
Hi guys

I need some new wheels.

Since putting on the fc3s calipers in the front the 15" AITWE won't fit anymore without spacers (approx. 1cm needed).

Now I wanted to get some new wheels anyway.

What do you think is the better option:

15x7 offset 0
15x8 offset 15

I am aiming more towards the 15x8 since this might help for racing too.

But what do you think?

Cheers
Tobias

7 off 0

perfect offset for an ae and you dont need to modify your arches or something.

if you want those 8 inches i would probably add a spacer of 10mm. Had my 7 inch +20 on my car in the past and they were extremely close to my coilovers. When cornering hard you could hear them scratch the coilover. 8 inch +15 will be even more toawards your strut. In my case impossible with the coilovers from T3.

Strange. FC calipers must fit under 15" wheels ..... at least with Mini One rotors.

I'll go with 7 ET0 but then again I have enhanced steering angle to clear... as you are more the racer go for 8s if they clear your suspension ... you still could fit some NCRCAs to get a bit more clearance, as your car is lowered anyway or like I will do ane day... some of these:

Yeah that Nagisa is a sweet bit of kit.Yummie!
But also something for the future. There are a lot of things for the future though. Cool

Clearance problem happen not with the diameter but with rubbing on the inner side of the wheel due to offset.

I probably go for the 7" ones since the available semi slicks are not that wide anyway. Probably go for the new Advan A050, should be much better then the Toyos.

Fastest combination on track are probably the 225-50-15 kooks on the 15x8s. I think the toyos also come in that size. The new 195-50 RE01 stones also have such a wide footprint that they probably work better on a 8inch rim.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

I would get the 15x8 with a 20 or 25mm spacer.

You know you want it!!.
