hello , I'm riding that LSD now for years ,and it's pretty reliable
Does anybody know what brand , or type it is? there's only a T logo and it thanks for your science Phil Filh Save the RWD cars |

It's a very strong LSD , bought from an old rally car : Celica TA40 ,years ago ... I had it in my former rally car Corolla TE71, and now for 7 years in my AE86 and still alive ...... Thanks for the information Filh Phil Filh Save the RWD cars |

could be a cusco as well (same model I believe) But as long as you maintain a diff even an original one is strong.

@jeenyus: torsen is not a brand.. it's just a type of lsd with helical gears. This one looks more like a clutch type lsd to me.
@Robo: the only cusco lsd's I've ever seen looked quite different to this one. The original LSD's are inherently weak due to the 2-pinion design. If you treat them nicely they will stay in one piece, but rallying is not being nice to your diff. Havent heard of any serious drifter who has kept the original diff for any stretch of time either. I have seen several examples with broken clutch plates in the past few years, and have on in my basement that has some broken gears too. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
