oil pump uprating
was upo speaking to my jap dud today about the car

and he persuaded me to go for the toyota gasket set cause they are all metal blah blah lol

he also asjed me where i want to go with the engine and i told him the toda high cam racing kit 200 ps one

and he said are you uprating the oil pump, he said the standard one can be modified by changing the spring,

but i also noticed Miguel had used this one

what car is it from, where can i get one and does it just fit like a standard one?

I'm guessing its from the AE111 Levin (blacktop) other then that...no idea

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

the jap dude is right. the gasket set of toyota is better than most aftermarket. actually its mostly the headgasket

Look like you have 16V 4AGE. You can not using a AE111 oul pump to a 16V since AE111 (4age 20V blacktop) have the tensioner. But you can use the AE101 (4age 20V silvertop) oil pump. Both oil pump gear are the same but 4AGE 20V Silvertop and Late Version 4AGZE oil pump are the same. The good is the oil pump gear is redesign for higher RPM use. The oil pump gear of the AE101 is more round on the edge that early 16V pump.

yeah i have a 16v 4age

just looking tp upgrade the oil pump, i use the car for driting so is always high up in the revs,

so the AE101 oil pump then


so how did Miguel from newera get away with using the AE111 pump?
then again techno pro spirits build his engine lol Big Grin

Sorry, Can I see the pic of his oil pump? If he using the AE111 oil pump, There will have a spot to mount the tensioner. Usless he did not use the tensioner, the oil pump will be the same as the AE101 and the Late Version 4AGZE since the oil pump gear, spring are the same (Same Toyota part #)Same . I will get some picture of the oil pump since I have both in stock for people do need for upgrade for 16V or just for for there 20V.

You can not put a AE111 oil pump on the 16V since the tensioner and the mounting point is different.
