WILDER CAMS SETTINGS????
Hey guys i want help!!!
 Today I put (in the marks of the OEM cams) a pair of Kamakazee KK101 cams ( The duration is 262 with 8.9mm of lift) and my problem is that the engine can't run idle but really gets wild after 4800-5000 to 8000 ! I have the APEXi SAFC connected but don't know exactly what settings to use... ANy suggestions??? AE86 FANATIC!!! |

The idle problem is probably caused by the bad map sensor signal...you could try to make something to improve the vacuum signal to the MAP sensor (vacuum canister I think it's called).

Wilder cams usually create less vacuum at idle speeds due to the larger overlap and opening times. Your map sensor doesnt get enough signal to properly determine fuel mixtures at idle, hence bad idle. But you could also just try increasing idle speed a bit first, see where that takes you..

I tried to increase idle speed by the screw in front of the TPS sensor but nothing...

Only swiss ae86's have AFM right?
