Testing for IDS
Hi guys

Last weekend I was at the Nürburgring GP course. It was a test day for the upcoming IDS drift championship.

Unfortunately I was the only Ae86 there but was still a lot of fun.
There were a lot of BMW, some Nissans, two Toyotas, Miatas and one Mustang.

The whole day was lots of fun eventough it was raining all the time. My entry speeds cam up over 110km/h and I also managed some 3rd gear drifts.
My hachi survived the day quite ok besides a broken exhaust and some fender clearance problems.

On the 21th and 22nd will be the first round in Hockenheim.
Would be cool to see some of you guys there.[/img]

It broke when I was spinning out into the gravel I guess.
I noticed it a bit but did not check.
It broke in the middle part of the Kakimoto exhaust.
But already fixed.

The Chaser belongs to a guy from Switzerland.
He got it from Ireland and it is supposed to have around 600hp from a 2JZ.
It goes really well.

I guess it was driftet in Ireland before and was fully built there.
Do not know more about the specs.

Good to see some nice drift cars there (mainly the japanese ones), but damn, those BMWs look so terribly boring. I think I couldn't enjoy driving/drifting such a car, knowing that it looks like crap Evil
