Wow 225$ is a real bargain if its a complete axle!

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

Yep! I can get the GTS handbrake cables easily enough, and I already have the brake proportioning valve because its an '86 86 Tongue . I'm guessing I will need GTS brake lines as well, so I will probably just get some steel braided lines. And is there anything else I'm missing? Assassin1000 mentions a rear harness.. do I need that to hook up my axle?

[edit] uh oh, looks like that may just be the two axle shafts and not the pumpkin or brakes... =/

however, I did find a rear end on ebay for $300 USD + shipping (not sure how much that will be) but it has an open diff =/

this is harder than I had thought it would be heh.

update:
After much consideration and research, it looks like doing a full sr5-->gts swap is going to cost a lot more time, money and effort than I think I can really afford atm. So, I started looking around for a gts '86 which I could get if I sell my car and add some money to that. I didn't end up with much gts luck, but I DID find this:

I believe he said that it is a gts with a swapped-in 4ac (4age blew from previous owner and 4ac was a lot cheaper replacement) and built it up to over 100hp (port and polish, trd racing cam, advanced timing, new exhaust). And he did say that it has the GTS rear end with disk brakes and LSD. Plus, he bought those bride seats about a month ago before he knew he was going to sell the car, and he is keeping them in.

He is willing to trade for my car and $500 usd.
I am a bit cautious, because obviously this is a damn good bargain, but he apparently needs the money really soon which is why he is willing to do this. But we will see. If everything goes through, I should be getting the car on Friday =)

Wish me luck!

Apparently it IS too good to be true, because on the way up to meet the guy and trade cars (he lives almost 200 miles north of me) my crank pully threw my fan clutch belt off and my radiator cracked.

Awesome.

Well I may not be able to get back up there before he sells it. Sad

But I have been looking around and I might be able to find something even better, who knows.
I did find this:
http://www.hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9767

He is willing to give it to me for $1600 and I definately like that. I even have a lead on a grey door w/seal for $80 so that option is looking more and more likely. I really prefer the hatches, but coupes have grown on me and with all the parts this one has I find it really hard to pass this up.

At first I thought: what's the catch... But then I saw the picture of the door. Tongue
Any idea if the structure wasn't damaged as well?
