My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe
Well - Babys home Smile Finally managed to find some free space to get her back from storage... Now just need to find some spare time after all the works to start working on it - getting everything slowly back together...

First thing what i did - was tryed to messure my newest wheels - AME 15x10 -40 Big Grin When i bought them - they where 4x110 between the bolts - i got the redrilled and machined to have -20 offset and the right holes for the hachi... BUT!

NO chance to fit them under my Arches... Its mainly cuz of the S13 suspension beeing already too wide for the AE - so these wheels will go on my S30z Big Grin They will be just like home there with some Fender flares Smile

Well - as the car is now home - and i evenings after works are a bit longer - some progress goes on:

Managed to move my steering rack forward around 2cm, and reweld whole subframe:

Cleaned / painted / rebuilt steering rack:

Poly bushings for the rack and all the puzzle gets back together:

Next step was front arms - stock lock stopers gone, edge of the arm - gone to make more room for the lock, and some rewelding to make it stiffer:

And arms goes back to the subframe along with some poly insterts too:

And heres a new friend i bought like a month ago Big Grin 78'z Smile It gets some treatment time from time too Big Grin Rolla is under the cover...

Meanwhile - some stuff arrived from Dream Land:

Big Grin

And i continued to work on my rolla once again:

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe]

Clearance between the tension and wheel on full lock is still around 1cm - so i could use some spacers on the steering rack to get MORE extreme - but it should do just fine now Big Grin
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe]

[Image: AEU86 AE86 - My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe]

Setup:
Steering rack 2cm forward
S13 3UP Knuckles
Custom tension build from Cusco RPS13 tensions
Ikea formula steering rods + custom adjustible center piece
S13 S13 lower arms
S13 Coilovers

The result is more then i expected like 10 times Big Grin

And here the expected ride height
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe]

There still gonna be some more camber - so wheels should fit into the arches just flush as i want Smile
