Map Car Starting Issues
I got a new map harness from europe and got it installed. I went to go start the car and it cranks but it doesnt even try to start. I checked spark and it has spark and the fuel pump is running. Then I tried my powerfc and it says theres a duty cycle but the ignition stays static. I tried a different distributor with the same result. Could use some advice.

What engine ?? What car ?? What loom ??

MAP sensored 16 valve 4AGE engines have a cold start injector that
squirts enough gas during cranking to fire the engine. But it will die when
you let go of the key if the main injectors are not firing. AFAIK MAP
sensored 20 valve engines just fire the main injectors a bit longer during
cranking to richen the mixture.

Check you have 12 volts supply to the injectors when the ignition is ON.
The ECU pulls 12 volts to earth to fire the injector.
