King of Europe Round 8 - Night Drift Event in Hungary

Dear Drifters of Europe!

The Hungarian Drift Association would like to invite You to be a part of the 8th round of 2008 King of Europe Drift Series. Here are some informations about the unique Night Drift Race on Máriapócs.


The track:
The RabócsiRing is Hungary’s most modern and also most visited racetrack. Certified internationally and memorable about last year’s King Of Europe Final with the night tsuiso drift event. The longitude is 910 meters, width between 10 and16 meters. On the race, 5 corners will be under valuation, the 4th and 5th is a left turn with three angles, and the surface has an angle too, like oval tracks. The parking lot for the racers has electricity, 220v, toilets and showers especially for those who sleeps in campers or in tents. The whole place are under non stop surveillance of a professional guarding team.


Entry cost:
We count with about 50 drifters (there is a max limit of 50 drivers).

Training - Friday (22nd August): 30€ or 7.000,- HUF
KoE night drift race – Saturday (23rd August): 50€ or 12.000,- HUF
Team Drift race – Sunday (24th August): Free

Tyre mounting is free for the registered racers, as alwalys! Any racer can get two more person to enter free, as a helper, serviceman or family, and one vehicle as a service car.

Training - Friday: Free
KoE night drift race – Saturday: 10€ or 2.500,- HUF
Hungarian Drift Series and Team Drift race – Sunday: 8€ or 2.000,- HUF

KoE Awards:
Winner: Cup + 300 euros in cash + 300 euros in KW coupon rebate
Second place: Cup + 200 euros in cash + 200 euros in KW coupon rebate
Third place: Cup + 100 euros in cash + 100 euros in KW coupon rebate


Press information:
Accreditation (for media, press, photo) is only before the event! To enter free, must be at the gates before 10am on the day of the race. For working on the racetrack, must wear the H.D.A. visibility vest. The vest is free, caution for using is 5000 HUF or 20 euros.
