SutteR Wrote:As far as I know there is a pressure operated valve in stock. If you use the stock lines with the FC3S oil cooler won't it operate only on high revs because of this pressure valve?

Question is if it can be avooided to run the oil through this pressure valve.

you can remove the valve if you want, when i go to the track i just remove the thermostat

yes, just remember to put it upside down, the thermostat plug facing up so you can unscrew the plug and drain it every oil change.

Now I need to find a 'free-flow' sandwich plate which suits the hachi engine and make some hoses to connect them. Would be great to be able to use the FC oil lines more or less...

I tell you but you won't believe it for sure. Smile It was ~40€ total with the thermostat in and the hoses. Only little bents on the radiator, otherwise great shape.

Adapter will be no problem, I just look for the cheapest but still reliable option.

Hoses with fittings will cost more than the adapter and the cooler I suppose.

Will keep you informed.

Thats cheap! I found one for €100 but we don't have that many RX7s in Denmark, so they don't lay around much Smile
