Hello to you all! My name is Ramon. I've been a fan of these cars for a while now, but am still learning a lot about them from reading this site . I wanted to take a break from the V8 world for a while. Finally have some extra cash to buy a shell and make this an enjoyable (still have money to eat) experience. Let me know what ya'll think of this one i am looking at. The guy said its an 85 gt-s with no engine, but has tranny and interior for $800. Do ya'll think that its worth it? Thanks

Shell seems to be in good condition ,so i'd buy it.

Looks good mate, depending on where you are engines shouldn't be hard to get and you can go for something better right away.

Your only risk is that the tranny or diff could be bad and you can't test it. But I always say, a rust free shell is worth gold, a broken tranny or diff easily replaced. And offcourse it helps if your mechanically inclined to do the work yourself or you'll be spending alot on someone else taking hours to get her up and running.

So for 800 bucks, hell yeah, go for it!

800 bucks? In that condition I would buy it!
I do see some rust on the A pilar and at the underside of the driver door. Seen more spots than that? Maybe a good think to check the underside of the car and the insides of the fenders...
