Jezza, no result from dFaulkner? They should be able to produce those springs. Cheap too, you could order two three or even four sets for the price of the jdm tight yo stuff. Custom stuff gets even cheaper if you order 10 or more..

My only gripe with running coilovers at the back is that it puts more pressure on the shock tower, which over time could cause problems. Well, that's what I've heard from other people anyway. Otherwise it seems like a great idea.

Yeah, its what you hear from people that don't actually have them. But I didn't mean coilovers..They do ordinary style springs too

I did have a response from them regarding the coilover fronts and they can make them. Although they did tell me to take my front springs off to measure them (even though I'm adamant they are a 70mm ID after taking multiple measurements on the car of the coil thickness, external diameter and internal diameter).

But when it comes to the rear, I don't know what kind of free load length I should be suggesting to them to get the ideal ride height and that's what I'm trying to find out.

I give up, I've searched and searched and haven't had any results trying to find the specifications of an ideal spring. So the next best step is to take one off the rear of my car, get the inner diameter and add about and inch to the free length for Faulkner to make up.

Why don't you go with TRD sizes ?

As the ride height is a little too low for my liking.

There are different TRD race springs, as much as i rembember even a 4.7kg ones.

What about theri lowering springs ? Their size can be found easily.

I haven't seen any info that suggests height reduction measurements

I've never heard of them, would you happen to have any links?

Rates aren't that stiff so you probably don't want to use them. Something around 2.5-3kg/mm

Their part numbers are 48131-AE811 for front and 48231-AE811 for rear

Look them up in the bible, from my memory front springs free length is 286mm. Whatever info you find, it can be useful to calculate "ideal" spring.
