Fitting camber plates on shocks with odd threaded nuts

Doc, did you put some sort of bush inside the camber plate? the shaft of the koni isn't big enough is it?

For the record / search function:

The same problem applies to camber plates paired with TRD Blue adjustable shocks.

I used the stock nuts for the first ~4 months and encountered a horrible clonking noise that I couldn't allocate at first.

Turns out I also couldn't tighten the nut on the camber plate correctly, so it had play.

Use deep-type nuts for your upper mounts.

no, i only use the stock koni nut
And my suspension is completely quiet
