yes but your oil cirle isn't corect now. THe oiuld doesn't go in a line but comes in and out at the same spot. Could be if you hear tok tok tok that the pistons didn't got to much grease adn fucked up.

1. Check the dipstick. How is the oil level ??
2. Take the radiator cap off. How is the water level ??
3. Take the oil filler cap off. Look inside. Does the camshaft turn
while the engine is cranking ??

The red arrows are the stock oil in and out

the green ones is the new oil flow to the cooler and return to the sandwich plate

In theory there is nothing wrong with the pipework you have done. Smile

As previously explained, the factory sandwich plate is a bypass type
and there will not (should not) be any flow in the loop back to the sump
when the engine is at IDLE speed. At higher revs when the oil pressure
builds up, the oil pressure regulator valve will open and allow SOME of
the oil to flow thru the cooler, or in your case, directly to the sump.

The new sandwich plate intercepts the oil heading for the filter, and
directs it thru the new cooler. It then flows back to the sandwich plate,
thru the filter, and back into the engine thru the central hollow tube.

If you had good oil pressure after you installed the new cooler, then
it doesn't seem that your problem is related to the cooler install.

You need to look further... to see if there is something else that could
have gone wrong. Check your cam belt, tensioner, all pulleys and belts
for tightness, look for loose wires, leaks, leftover Easter eggs Smile
