AE86 in Hong Kong

hey are there alot of 86 on hong kong roads?? i have to go there one day. hear so many things about that place.

the last time i visited HK which is last christmas and i didn't see a single 1 on the road. but saw 2 for sale in the local magazine. is it good or bad things???

I was talking to a guy from HK a while back, I think he was on driftworks. Seems the AE is a rarity over there

I wonder how much trouble it would be to import one from japan into HK. If I ever move there when my wife wants to return I sure want one

a few years back is almost impossible. but they make a set of new rules to make importing a 20years+ vehicle alot easier. that's what i've heard.

it's have quite a few AE86 in hong kong now, most of them have been featured in the Magazine. but you just won't see them on them road unless it's a special occussion like club meet.

i sure want 1 aswell if i ever return back.

Kenny, well I must say when I was there we didn't use my parents in law car very often at all. So I can imagine someone having something he imported at great effort won't use his car in normal day life.

Depending on what you need a contact in HK for I thus have family there
