4age gearbox upgrade
hello, i would like to know the best / cheapest solution to upgrade the gearbox from my 4age
Please give me some cheap solutions.. i want to run turbo - 200 - 250rwhp Thanks |

Ford type E or type 9 without integrated bellhousing and custom made bellhousing (which is not a cheap)...

I have a 200Hp/193Nm on engine and Quiafe-gearkit (2.040, 1.540, 1.210, 1:1)

Do you have any pictures of the gearwheels? I bought such a Ford gearbox with custom made bellhousing for 4A-GE. He told me it was quaife gearkit, but it have not straight cutted gearwheels.
I belive Quaife gearkit are straight cuttet, just like the reverse-gear, am I right? Project AE86 now begun. Cars I have owned: Toyota Starlet EP91 1,3 16v Turbo, 200hp Toyota Starlet EP71 1,3 12v Sport Mercedes 207D camper, 1977. Or you just simly use a W gearbox with a 4age-W tranny custom bellhouse...

Its not really any simpler.. W box or Ford, exact same measures needed to fit em. Only ford box has cheap quaiffe and sequential options, though I'm not sure how much torque the stock gears will take. W is usually solid.
