4AC and 4AG transmission the same
Is the 4AC transmission the same as the 4AG? Will the 4AC bolt up to the 4AG motor?
You have by far the ugliest hachi on the nicest rims in the world -Mux213 |

the transmission is the same BUT you must replace the bellhousing whit a 4age bellhousing

I believe the slave is different as well. You should be able to reuse the fork.

I thought the bellhousing was the same but the slave was on the wrong side.

The slave is on the other side...why....because the fork is on that side. Meaning the hole is on the other side. It's the same, but left is right etc.

Well I have a FWD 4AG and the starter is on the left and the slave is on the right, just like the 4AC.

The slave is on the other side - reason: exhaust tubes. No problem to use 4AC belhousing if you take care of exhaust tubes.
