20V Head and Crankbolt Removal.
How the hell did you guys remove both these items. I have my silvertop sitting on a tire right now on the floor :/. Was trying to go at it with a hex key and thought that thing was going to snap. I know I should be using a double hex socket key but i dont know where to get them. How did you guys find enough torque to take off the head bolts and the crank shaft bolts!

Where did you guys buy the 12pt 10mm bit? Also is it a double hex or a triple square?

The 12 pt sockets are fairly common, they are often sold as regular 10mm items because they are easier in use (but less safe for your bolts).. Just go to a toolshop and get yourself one. (I would guess double hex should fit the bill).

At least, that's what I used... nothing fancy.

The thing is that my silvertop is a female type bolt so I need a bit in order to open it. I need something like this

Were all silvertops like this? It's such an obscure part. Also do you guys think i should try to take off the head bolts and crank bolt on a stand or keep doing it on the floor.

If you've got the proper bit, try using an extension pipe or something so you can apply more torque. I've never had much problems getting headbolts loose on any engine so far, even whilst out of the car, but a helping hand does make things easier.

Are xzn, spline, triple square, and double hex the same? I always thought triple square had 90 degree angles while double hex had 120 degree angles so triple square does not fit
