Oil temperature !?

when i was going I had around 230 farhenheit (didn't calculate back)
But I am running 5w 40 oil for circuit racing. (same goes in skylines etc) So don't know if thats good to measure. Temp depends on the outside (temp) and on the type of oil. And how you drive. When my engine is warm I don't go lower than 4k
