A few days ago, the guy who sold me the Datsun 180b SSS sent me an SMS. He wanted to know if I wanted to sell it back to him again. As I don`t do rust repairs myself, I`m convinced that this car won`t be on the road again for a good while. I didn`t really want to sell it, so I needed to think about this. The car has potential, but will I ever make something out of it?

So the timing was perfect when I found a 76` TA28 Celica ST Liftback, more or less rust free, with what appears to be 102.000km on the clock. The car has been stored away in a garage for the last 16 years, and is in pretty good condition all over. It needs a bit of fixing since it hasn`t been used for a while, so I figured this might be the perfect daily driver while I take the Corolla off the road sometime during the winter.

I just talked to the owner, and I got dibs on the car until tomorrow. I`ll let you know how it goes.

On another note, I`ve told my contact in Japan to ship all my Yahoo Auctions-goodies to Norway, so I`ll be starting to work in my car as soon as they appear. I`m back out at sea again, didn`t really do anything to the car during the three weeks I was home, as I was way to lazy :wink:
