@jeenyus: torsen is not a brand.. it's just a type of lsd with helical gears. This one looks more like a clutch type lsd to me.

@Robo: the only cusco lsd's I've ever seen looked quite different to this one. The original LSD's are inherently weak due to the 2-pinion design. If you treat them nicely they will stay in one piece, but rallying is not being nice to your diff. Havent heard of any serious drifter who has kept the original diff for any stretch of time either. I have seen several examples with broken clutch plates in the past few years, and have on in my basement that has some broken gears too.
