needle type and tuning for FCR carb help
hi,
ive recently purchased an AE86 ex JDM drift car which is running on FCR carbs which seem to not have been tuned right. its fine when giving light throttle or when your over 5k rpm but as soon as you go over this the engine floods and bogs down. does anyone know what needle profile's to use for a 4-age engine and how to tune an FCR. thanks |

British atmospheric pressure its not the same as in Japan, so I guess you'll need to Re-Jet the carbs, they must work fine in Japan where they were originally tuned.

its seems a little more involved than that. when i say it bogs down i mean a total loss of power and unburnt fuel comes out of the exhaust

Don't ask around on car forums..just visit some motorcross forums with tech sections. FCRs came on tons of big single cyl motoX bikes. Like KTMs, honda's etc. They should be familiar with all the different quirks
