generalachoo Wrote:So you removed the entire engine out of the car just to paint the engine bay? thanks for the kind words everybody! i had a local shop do an engine swap cause my tired old bluetop low comp had rod knock and was about to blow a headgasket. we sourced a jdm front clip from an ae92 kouki. i had the engine bay painted while the old bluetop was out. i have a buddy that owns his own tow truck. haha. another buddy painted the engine bay for my with a little (and i mean very little) help from me haha. it was a little bit of a hassle but well worth it - how often are you gonna have the whole engine out, right?

haha. it was a little bit of a hassle but well worth it - how often are you gonna have the whole engine out, right?
