While you've got the pipes off, note that the thin "L" shaped pipe "16278" (top right) can get blocked with gunge, so give it a
good clean out.

If it does become blocked, it will stop the flow of hot water to the thermostat in the Auxilliary Air Valve. This can result in an
oscillation in the revs at idle speed.
