Fender flares on a 4-door?

It's an ugly 80's breadbox, but that's also what makes it cool
![]() I'm currently in the process of fitting fender flares to my 4-door volvo 360, and it can be done, there's not a lot of room for flares though. The problem is that you have very little room to work with under the door, so the flares end up very low. I'm going to trial fit the rears and see if I like the look, if it doesnt work out, maybe try to mount them higher so they overlap the door, then cut and plastic-weld both ends closed again so the door can still open.
