Ah, the PARTS. My misunderstanding. Yes, similar in the US. Corolla parts are common but if you say "GTS" the story changes. In '95 before the internet was big I needed to locate parts to repair theft losses. It took three weeks to locate one set of wheels for my car, and that was with using all the toll-free numbers and teletype connections to junkyards across the US. From the US east coast the first set fo wheels turned up outside of Seattle, 2500+ miles away, three weeks later.

The yard apologized and said "we don't get many wheels for those cars, the kids keep crashing them and ruining the wheels."

But in the last ten years, with junkyads on the internet it has actually become much easier to get parts here. Not easy <G> just easier. And of course not cheap if they are too big to fit in a simple box.
