I think the blacktop 3S-GE Beams dual VVT-i from an Altezza RS200 would be the "ethical" choice for the AE86.
Two litre, normally aspirated, 210bhp high-revving screamer of an engine. Its character is similar to the 4A-GE and it's still a Toyota engine with a kickass head designed by Yamaha. ![]() If you're not convinced yet, check out Bill Sherwood's conversion; http://www.billzilla.org/AE863SGE.htm |
