And it would probably cost more, and make less power due to the less than ideal shaped intake track. I would prefer a cut-and welded smallport manifold myself. Some people argue that the aesthetics arent very appealing but that all depends on the amount of effort you put into the finish of you welds. (Just look at the differences in the pictures in this thread for example...)
