On page 289 of the AE86 manual you will find the way which component should be in your dash. Most of them are screwed in with a 1cm (about, dunno the exact size) high screw, but some (major parts like the safetypad, hinge, lower finishpad and speaker bracket) are bolted with M-10 bolts.
