What bushings are being used by Japanese tuners?

May I ask why it's so import to know what the jap tuners are using?
Is it that important to have some fancy name on a few parts where you wont notice the difference that much anyway? If you look at the option video ae86 specials you'll see Tsuchiya talking about TRD bushings somewhere.. And if you need to upgrade and have money to spare then that's what I would choose. But all out racing cars dont use rubber, they use heim joints, which are going to make a HELL of a racket on uneven surfaces. Most of us here have chosen to go with polyurethane, which is stiffer than rubber, but also more prone to wear over time. The prothane kit is very good value, and it does exactly the same for your handling as trd bushings would do, only a bit less comfortably.
