Banpei's two door panda Trueno from Japan

Tragedy happened today: I wanted to install the roof rail garnish and had them side by side to compare their colour:

As you can see, the brown one I bought from Japan is shorter than my current one. I checked the ad once more, and it does claim that this is the one for the two-door. That was a horribly expensive mistake to me by the seller as the shipping was very expensive

Regardless of that, I installed it anyway:


It's about four to five centimetres short.

I'll just keep the three-door trim piece in place. My current plan is to consult a car interior restoration company here in the Netherlands and see if they would be able to fix this. If they can't, I have to search on Yahoo Auctions once more and hope a correct one comes up for sale.

I also took a photo to show the difference between the brown interior and the discoloured parts.

You can see at the bottom of the blue part, it has a blue band where there is no discolouration. That's some serious discolouration, while the brown part (except for the stain) doesn't suffer from this at all.
