Thanks! That would certainly help and speed up things.
However, if it's only polishing I'll do I'll probably use the same method as last time: I attached a rotational buffing tool to my cordless drill. It didn't give me a mirror finish, but it worked well enough to revive the shine.
This was the result of my efforts seven years ago:
