Thanks for getting in touch, it's been a bit of a journey as you heard the start of it.
Split between the S86 kit and some others at the moment but I'll give you a shout if I see anything.

Dieter, I would be going for all aftermarket internals, only the crank would remain.
H Section forged rods, lower comp pistons, Cams - there would be the Block, crank, Throttle bodies and breathed on head left from the original engine either way.
The turbo kit just means I'd be looking at a GTIR plenum kit from S86, more fueling work, Turbo/ancillaries and THEN all the drivetrain stuff that comes with it.

So I think I'll keep N/A for now, until such time I get bored of that and then I'll see where my bank takes me.
Can't really afford the uprated box (Type 9 or W5 and Diff to justify the Turbo...no point only building one for 220bhp, might as well do a decent 20v NA.

Could always keep the current Blacktop as a reserve build
