So i passed the rally inspection without the new setup.
Had to work day and night to get the car ready for the inspection and didnt even have time for the setup ![]() The good news is that they believed me that i was changing the suspension. What i will do is what NoHachi suggested Together with the person we will renew the excisting shocks and use springs that will lower the car no more than 1 cm with a spring rate arround 4/3 . The only thing i need to know is the standard height from the car. All i could find was 1335 mm,does this mean both the back and the front were 1335 mm? Could you explain this in a bit more of detail: A big front swaybar/no rear swaybar setup is usually fastest on an AE86. its really interesting and i am trying to understand why. I went to the boucles de spa this weekend and i peeked abit at the ae86's who were driving there.All of them had no rear swaybar and what looked like a 24mm blue trd front swaybar. one more thing,the shocks in the gront are bilstein b8 without the cover and painted red... that was quite the shocker @zenki rally inspection will be no problem for you if you want it for rollcage but want to keep rally forbidden parts.They just check them and you need to fix them before a rally ![]() |
