both options work equally good. the crucial point is to shield the fresh air to the intake from the rest of the engine bay.
for some this is easiest by your explained method one, other do method 2 without shielding which is ok but not ideal. to illustrate a bit - something like this should be preferred http://www.rmgto.com/gallery/albums/Odds...0004v2.jpg regarding water entering, have a few bends in there and simply don't mount it too low AE86 ex-daily |
