Provided the crankshaft bolt is still tight, there should not be any damage
to the crank. Nor should it have any affect on the timing. For a replacement, you can grab one off any 4AGE FWD Corolla that has the correct number of grooves. Most will have dual pulleys of equal diameter. You can leave the outer pulley on and not used, or you can machine it off. What you will find, is that the offset of the pulley from the back face of the hub is slightly different. Measure the old one, and either have the boss shaved, or make a spacer washer (I can never remember which ??) so that the new crank pulley lines up with the water pump etc. Cheers... jondee86 |
