Around 2kg and 40e of cost.

ATM wall of thinner part is around 5mm. Will cut it down to 2-2,5mm and half the upper part.
Will drive weight to ~1,2kg

Cant you just combine a hub with a snap-off system to get some extra length? I also know they sell longer hubs for ae86's on ebay sometimes.

Btw. i have some quickrelease here, it weighs more than 400grams. Dont know about standard boss kit but they must be 200+ so it looks 600-700 looks like minimum. Plus you get like 12 more screws.
Dont know why this is more dangerous, but it is more heavy...
