It depends on the ride height you settle on. If you slam it completely, they might become loose. Even with short stroke shocks.
For the WOF just temporarily move the spring perches upward untill the spring is captive again with the car jacked up.

Most short stroke setups still have about 15-20cm of travel (what you need as a minimum for effective shock travel when racing). Most "slammed" cars, or drifters tend to use less then 2-4cm of bump travel, so you end up with 12cm of rebound (or more). This is too long for most coiloversprings.
You could try and order longer springs, but they will limit the amount of slammage you can achieve. Best solution is still to just jack the perches up for a test.
