That might be a problem... But they do also keep your body in your seat instead of flying through the car...But in 4 point harnesses and a frontal accident you get submarining. So 5-6 points would be better again...but less comfy..
Conclusion: roll over accidents are a serious hazard to your health. You really shouldn't be risking one by driving like a pillock on the street and on the track you are better of with a full cage etc. PS: a rear roll bar "might" be an option for a street car. As long as you can keep it a LONG way from your coconut. Not sure how all the popular ones are constructed. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
