I'm going for the equal length arms in my car and I'm currently building the housings for the new brackets (link). It's going to be a dedicated track racer though, so there's no need to compromise.
One possibility might be not using equal length arms, but only slightly longer upper arms with a smaller housing protruding through the floor. This would make it possible to carve a bit of foam off the back seat and still be able to mount it back on the car. This article is a pretty useful read when modifying the rear axle linkages: http://www.afcoracing.com/tech_pages/4link.shtml |
